Double Chocolate Gluten Free Brownies

So it would definitely be an abuse of the term to call these brownies "Paleo", but they are at the very least a gluten free little treat.

½ cup dark chocolate chips
¼ cup coconut flour
¼ teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon baking soda2 eggs
½ cup agave nectar
¼ cup coconut oil
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
½ cup chopped pecans
⅓ cup dark chocolate chips

Place ½ cup chocolate chips in food processor and pulse until the consistency of coarse sand

Pulse in coconut flour, salt and baking soda until combined

Pulse in eggs, agave, coconut oil and vanilla

Pour batter into a greased 8x8 pyrex dish

Sprinkle pecans and remaining chocolate chips over batter

Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes

Cool and serve

  2. These are delicious! I couldn't resist and drizzled a little bit of homemade caramel on top but still, at least I didn't eat the whole pan.
